Authenticity, Emulation, Belonging (2023)
An Experimental Video Piece
Authenticity, Emulation & Belonging is an experimental and reflective film piece, exploring themes of assimilation and environment. Through narration, video, and imagery I address experiences of social isolation, in relation to race and environment. Additionally, I attempt to confront my participation in behaviours of assimilation, questioning the repercussions and motives behind doing so.
