My Featured Work
The installed work explores themes of labour and sickness.
In the months leading up to Open Studio I had been experiencing continuous back to back respiratory related illness, which left me unable to get out of bed. The installed pieces of machine sewing on felt, were made in direct response to this.
The type written booklet and texts on the wall respond to frustrations surrounding the amount of time and energy that is consumed by work, and how that impacts other areas of my life.
Associate Studio Programme is a studio residency, supported by UAL and ACME.
